Heads up Gen Z!  This one’s for you!  I have spent the last 10 months writing a small cookbook called “Feed Your Brain!”  My learn-to-cook cookbook is for students who are heading off to live on their own for the first time.  It takes into consideration your limited experience, time, money and kitchen constraints.  You will learn how to make yourself simple, healthy (mostly) and guaranteed delicious meals using one of the easiest ingredients in the world to cook with: The Humble Potato.  My cookbook is packed full of tips for ways to save money, simple shortcuts to save time and above all feed your brain with healthy food so you can focus on your higher education fueled with excellent energy.

And before you roll your eyes - just to prove that you got this - every recipe has been tested and approved by a Gen Z student.  You’ll see their testimonial quotes and photos of the food they made at the top of every recipe.  Here’s a little sample of what two of my Gen Z volunteers had to say:

“It’s a game changer in my kitchen because it was surprisingly delicious for how simple it is!  Minimal effort created maximum flavour.” Lisa

“I think you did an amazing job on making people feel like you’re literally with them helping/cheering.  It’s so well catered to people not just new but a little bit nervous about cooking.” Victoria

Click on the PDF document above to print or download my cookbook.  You can visit “Recipes” to see many more original recipes from my kitchen.  Bon Appétit!

Meet Sarah, my new dynamic office assistant who is very excited to share some great news with you!  We have opened our corn stand for the season with some of Norfolk County’s finest sweet corn.  You won’t be disappointed with this corn while ours finishes growing.  We have Ontario tomatoes, onions and cabbage from local farms available, as well as our potatoes of course.  You can visit “What We Offer – At The Door” for our hours of operation and directions to our farm.

A potato field in full flower puts on a beautiful display.  This is a drone photo of our russet potato plants that are very busy growing tubers at the moment.  These are happy potato plants because we are able to irrigate them.  Perhaps it’s time for Mother Nature to give us a break and send a little rain our way?!  You can visit “New Potatoes Coming Soon!” to see a drone video of more of our potato fields in full flower.
