What better way to beat the winter blues here at the farm than to test cook our potatoes?! One snowy, stormy winter weekend RJ dug out the deep fryer and whipped up some fries. The fries featured in the photo were made from Yukon Gold potatoes, yellow flesh potatoes and two different kinds of russet potatoes. I am often asked what potato makes the best french fry, so let’s find out what our expert panel of taste testers decided. It was completely unanimous. The best fries are completely up to the individual who eats them, which leads to the undeniable conclusion that every potato makes an excellent french fry! We wash, pack and deliver our potatoes year round in the Greater Toronto Area to restaurants, food trucks, grocery stores and wholesale companies.
