Here’s a great fall recipe if you’re looking for something a bit different to do with our sweet corn. My recipe for homemade smoky creamed corn takes about 15 minutes to make, and it’s so much tastier than canned cream corn. Start by frying smoky bacon, add the kernels from a few fresh cobs of sweet corn, and cook gently with heavy cream. Blend the cooked corn to your desired consistency, add parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley. And voila! An amazing side dish that’s guaranteed to impress.
