Curtis holds his AZ licence and wears the hat of our Logistics Manager. He is responsible for making sure our daily restaurant deliveries happen smoothly. He’s quick to jump into a delivery vehicle when the unexpected happens to make sure our customers get their product. And on a personal note, a lifelong passion for playing guitar expanded when Curtis explored singing. He has provided us with much enjoyment and pride when he performs at local venues as a solo artist, a duo or as a band member. You can visit “The Scoop On Poop” to see a video of Curtis spreading manure.

Today the catch up spotlight is on our son Curtis Thompson. When we launched our website in 2016 Curtis was still in high school. Working at the farm since he was a young teenage prepared him well for when he started working here fulltime. Curtis now looks after a big part of our land stewardship and soil nutrition through the vital job of spreading manure. He fertilizes all our crops, and has completely taken over growing our sweet corn. As a side business Curtis grows pumpkins with his brother, and their beautiful pumpkins move out of our stalls at The Ontario Food Terminal as fast as we can get them down there.
